  • 1 3.5 lbs. Wholesome Farms Direct Source-Verified Whole Chicken
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2  tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp paprika


  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Place the whole chicken into a baking pan.
  3. Rub the entire bird with olive oil.
  4. Mix salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle over chicken.
  6. In the preheated oven bake the chicken for 20 minutes.
  7. Lower the oven to 400 degrees F.
  8. Continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until golden brown and juices run clear. If needed, cover in foil to slow browning of chicken.
  9. Let the chicken rest in its juices for at least 10 minutes before carving and serving.
